A co-worker and I got into a geek-speak discussion this morning at work, and while challanging each other at "Who would win this fight, Who would win that fight?" a pairing came up that caught our interest. I'm going to ask here for opinion. In a one on one fight, who do you think would win: Conan the Barbarian, or Tarzan?

As I recall, Conan has that big-ass sword, but Tarzan has like, what, a knife, spear, lasso and poison arrows.

I voted conan for the simple reason was that he was bread and trained to fight and to kill. tarzan is just trying to survive.

I have to go with Tarzan. I do not think that Conan has the speed to avoid attacks from the Ape man. Tarzan would wear him out hopping around all over the place... Then BAM... one to the jugular and he drops like a bag of sh!t.

I have to agree with Jr on this, Tarzan would wipe the jungle ground with Conan's @ss.  That said, the reason I think that is because I think the same as Hawk: Conan was bread and trained to fight and to kill. Tarzan is just trying to survive and there is nothing more dangerous than someone just trying to survive and Tarzan survived until his adult age alone in the dangers of the jungle. He must have learned one trick or two in that time.

No, Conan all the way. As Hawk said he was bred to fight and kill and he would be prepared for all types of fighters, even jungle boy.

All I've had was that stuff you had stuffed in the back of the refridgerator; in that bottle marked "K27D3c4-376; batch #256". It was kinda fruity tasting...ya know? I have heard horror stories all the way over here about Chilly running around in his loin cloth so I would have to say he is right :shudder: not a pretty sight!! I lost my lunch just hearing about it!

In a close range one on one fight Handsdown Conan. In an anthing gose servival match in the Jungle Tarzan. Tarzan is resourceful and like jackie Chan will use his surounding as a wepon. Conan is close range open rage fighter.
