Boy, that is awesome! Thank you for setting that up so fantastically, Winterhawk! I had a question, do you have the face .jpg without the eye circles for the Bruce Timm style makeup, as well? This is just amazing! Thanks again!

Apelord, you did a wonderful job on those textures! Thank you so much for sharing those!

We do need the ear tassels, collar, cuffs and bootie cuffs.

Boy, the textures are great! Arina does suit her well!

Thanks again!

I do indeed. I can put up a clean white face makeup option as well.

Thanks Doc! I had only just started them when I found your post. Winterhawk did a great job tidying things up and assembling the package so it's been a group effort all along. There is still more to do for her, but we seem to off to a fantastic start! Now all we need is some modelers to make all the rest.

Any takers out there?

I'll may try to do something, at least the hand cuff and the tassels, may be the collar.

I'll send it to winterhawk if I manage to do it.

Updated the files for this to include the face texture with no black rings around her eyes.

Hi,

this is just a quick render of some prop (head tassels, hand cuffs and a very big hammer) i did yesterday. There is still a lot of work to do on it : Texturing, parenting, verifying, and still a lot of ...ing things.

Unfortunatly I leave my office for a week so I won't be able to work on it furtger till I'll be back.

Give me your feedback on it.

An early wip in order to have your opinion - I am not very happy with the head tassels : as they aren't really a part of the cowl it is very difficult to make them seamless with it.

They don't move and it seems to me that they looks more or less like horns. Every render I saw of Harley quin looks like that.

So I decided to try to make a whole cowl with the tassels (and yes, they will have their own bones).

This is just a screen capture of the unfinished cowl to have your feedback.

Very nice! I suggest that they be tilted up 10-20 degrees more (or the exact opposite of the angle they are now, but still attached at the same points) and have a bit more of a curve to them. Does that make sense?

Yes, It make sense to me. It seems that there is different version in the comics, sometime they goes down and sometime up...
But if I managed to do the whole cowl as a conforming figure the tassels will have their own bones (they won't be parented props) so you will be able to move them up and down, to bend them, twist,... at least that the theory.

Cool! Variety would be a great option in these pieces. Most people prefer the Bruce Timms design. I also get the impression that the tassles shape tends to reflect her emotional state, like "happy" when they are up, and "sad" when they are down. So it will be nice to be able suggest the same thing with our own Harley renders.

I know I am stating The Obvious... but just in case... remember that Harley's cowl covers her whole head, minus her face. I would hate for you to put a lot of work into the WIP cowl that you are working on and then find out that you can't see Harley's ears.

But other than that, the progress you have made looks fantastic!

Hal, thank you so much for doing this! Your work is amazing!

I really love the first test render! The cuffs and mallet are perfect! I know the tassels are the hardest part. Sometimes they do look a bit like horns. Artists tend to take a lot of license with the costume. The tassels can be bent or curved, depending on the design. I've seen them higher or lower. Bruce Timm style they are high, but with the "Hush" comic, they are at ear level, almost like a Christmas elf look to them. Two extremes, certainly.

With the seam problem, I think there could be visible seams. At least with the drawings there appear to be. The body suit itself has seams built into the design, so having the tassels have seams at the cowl should be fine, once the textures are matched up, they shouldn't be very noticeable.

The idea for the bones for the tassels is a cool idea! I hate to have you go to all that work on a new cowl, though. What about conforming tassels to the existing cowl with bones?

I didn't mean for this to be such a long post, but so much was previously posted!

Hal, thank you again for your hard work! The items look really great! I honestly appreciate your time and effort!
