What did you think?

I liked it. There were some slow parts but the story was pretty good and the action was pretty insane. Micky did a decent job on his Russian accent and I thought played a good villian.

All in all I think I will have to see it again in the theaters.

I saw dis on tuesday.

I liked it, I liked it a lot.
A few things I didn't like about it as well.

1. Rhodey was replaced. The new guy did just fine but I hate it when they replace one one or two actors here and there in a franchise.

2. instead of being charming and cute the chemistry between RDJr and Paltrow was changed into her being a complaining bitch that was followed up with her kissing his ass in almost every scene they had together with one exception were she acted kinda like a bitch the whole way thru. One of the things I liked about the first movie was that Potts was not a wimpering pile of tv sitcom wife.

that said the effects were fantastic, the fights were good and the overall movie was good.

My son wore his ironman halloween costume to see it opening night. We loved it. It did have about 3 lulls in the flow of the story but overall was worth seeing again.

hey,

first summer movie I saw and I enjoyed it. this DJ
from a New Hampshire station said that Robert Downey
did a great job at playing Tony Stark as an arrogant
asshole who is a shameless womanizer and roaring
alcoholic, which he is. Mickey was great as the Russian
villian and Scarlet was decent as Black Widow, though
I imaging purists were disappointed she didn't wear
the old school bodysuit with the spider design. in all,
I was entertained and I look forward to seeing IM3.

Yeah, I did.

Spoiler alert!!!! Don't read if you don't want to know.

I was disappointing that the Mjollnir wasn't better represented. I had to think (yeah, it hurt) about what I just saw. It wasn't until I got up from my seat that I said "Ahhh Haaaaa... that was Thor's hammer."
But still, Cool all the same... looking forward to the Thor movie! I am interested to see how they tie it into the the other Avenger linked movies.

Actually, I don't think I'd heard "Highway to Hell" sound that good.

So far all I've heard people discribe Mickey Rourke's character as has been "the Russian Villain". does anyone know who he was actually supposed to be? When i saw the previews I initially thought he was Omega Red and then was told that he was Whiplash which i find hard to beleive especially since Whiplash was a hired killer and not Russian. I think he was Crimson Dynamo simply because he had the same name and his final version of armor looked slightly like CD's...now why he had the electric whips...i'll never know .

You have to remember StarChild that, for folks who aren't into comic books aka the vast majority of the movie going public, this is their first exposure to these characters so they have no idea who's who in IM's pantheon of villians. Hell, they don't even know Batman villians outside of who was on the old 1960's TV show!

He was a mashup of Whiplash and The Dynamo. I don't know why but he was.

Seen it, loved it. Downloaded a torrent of it. Even though I noticed things were a a bit off, it was still a good movie. Did anybody notice G4TV's AOTS Olivia Munn had a part in the film? Hawt Hawt Hawt!!

Honestly, I think Don Cheadle did a better job than the last guy, but i HAVE to agree with Winterhawk on this one. One foreseeable problem with this particular movie franchise: The IM villians, there really weren't that many and the majority were kinda lame.

I have read interviews with the creators of this movie that this is in fact the case. They wanted whiplash but for the character in the movie they combined Whiplash together with the Dynamo...to make him more interesting I guess.
