I just got the sad news that one of our longtime members, Walley, had passed away a few weeks ago. Walley's prolific output of photo manips can be viewed here. RIP Walley. You'll be missed.

This is really sad news. Walley was a fun and great individual. Knowing he is gone makes the world a sadder place.

That is very sad news. Not only a talented artist, but a generous Heromorpher, as well. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Years ago when I first discovered Heromorph I was amazed by a lot of the art I saw and the art that really blew me away was what I would later find out was photomanipulations. One of the best was Walley. He along with other artists I found here inspired me to learn the art. Every manip I've made or will make would never have existed if not for artists like him and I am grateful for that. Rest In Peace Walley a piece of you will always live on here in Heromorph.
