XBox?! Phooey! That relic will be obsolete next year with the coming of PS3 and XBox360 and cavemen will use the forgotten XBox consoles to summon the wild buffalo in their pagan rituals! Long live the PC! By the way, I still vie for the bunless burger for WW in the WW thread.

Oh yeah... well... Uh... at least I don't have to upgrade my PC every year to be able to play games...Yeah... that is it... XBOX 360 is going to RULE!!!! I will take over my brain and cause me to quit work and give plasma just to afford electicity to play.

Upgrade? I haven't upgraded in 3 years and I still an play games more than I should, at maximum settings. My upgrade was a $150 video card. Whopping. And your Xbox can't play DVDs, run Photoshop or summon the dark forces, like my PC can. Just kidding. From what I hear, the new consoles are going to rock. I MAY just get a PS3 from the looks of the Killzone preview, that and director John Woo is making a game for it.

If they charge around $300 for one, I'll probably get one.

#1 xbox and playstation 2 can both play dvd movies.

#2 playstation 3 will start between 4 and 600 dollars. While Xbox 360 is going to start at 300

#3 the day playstation 3 goes on the market, is the same day Halo 3 will be put out.

Yikes, that's way too expensive for any gaming system. I'll keep my PC. Plus, given the fact I've only bought 3 pc games in 3 years and my last console was a SNES, I don't think the whole console rotation cycle is for me.

I'd wait for the PS3 to go down in price but by then, a new 'big thing' would be on the horizon and, well, you can see how that all works.

You got me... XBOX cannot run Photoshop... that is it... I am throwing it away...
Microsoft is planning the release of 360 to mess with PS3... They are releasing their new system first. (good job) and then releasing Halo 3 the day PS3 comes out. And if it does half as well as Halo 2 did... watch out... wow!

My PC is 8 years old... it won't even run... much less a video game... it keeps making this funny "whirring" sound. Can't be good.

From what I heard, they were working on Halo3 a year before Halo2 came out. Which explains a lil why Halo2 suffered a bit.

Right but it isn't a coincidence that they will release Halo3 on PS3's release date... it is good marketing... Some of the people that are considering a PS3 might convert over just to check out Halo. Who knows.

It wasn't a matter of Bungie not making the cut. Bill Gates was the one who said Halo 3 would be released the day PS3 came out. Bungie immediately had a statement on their homepage flat out calling Bill Gates a liar.
