Hi everyone. Although I've been hanging around on Heromorph for a while admiring everyone's work, this is the first time I've made a post here.

Anyway, a while ago I had found a good tutorial for creating costumes in gray on already clothed people; much like it looks that DarkBlade used in his 30 in 30. (At least it looks that way based on his animated avatar.) Unfortunately after a hard drive crash I lost the tutorial and my link to it, and while BA's start to finish tutorial is great for doing manips with nudes it doesn't help much when needing to deal with bikinis or other clothes that aren't exactly right for the costume.

So, anybody know the tutorial I'm talking about, or have another good tutorial or tips they want to share? Hopefully, soon after my sprained wrist has healed I'll share my first completed manip on here.

Thanks

Did you check out the link to the manipper's toolbox on the front page?

Yep. And went through just about every single tutorial link in there, as well as a whole lot of googling, all without much sucess. That's why I finally thought it might just be easier to ask rather than anymore.

If you haven't already try the DCG Art School at C2F. There are a couple there that will help.

Nuderization: the act of removing clothes in photoshop.

I don't know if it is an actually word but someone coined it a hellfire and it stuck in my mind.

I haven't seen a really good tutorial on how to do this but I'll let you know if I find one.

my guess would be Strangefish's tutorial over at C2F's Art School.

Do it Yerself Nudity by Strangefish

it's done in PSP, but it's the tutorial that i learned from and i've only touched PaintShop Pro a few times, so you can easily take it and apply it to Photoshop.

i can't think of too many other full costume tutorials that go in depth other than BA's (great tutorial) and Strangefish's. i'm sure there are some, but i can't remember any other than the ones i listed.

Or if you want, www.freefakers.com, they're always removing clothing from existing photos.

They actually don't remove clothes more than that Frank a celebrities head onto a nude body.
