| Well I'm i HUGE Hellboy fan and of course most of the characters are pretty kool too! I was gonna do a series of the characters from the books to convert into icons for folders and stuff. . . . so i wanted to do them entirely in the computer wiyth no line work over them, but JEEZ talk about time consuming? So i only got around to doin' Lobster Johnson. . . hopefully I'll get around to the others! |

They say, "April showers bring May flowers," but Banzai Girl isn't having it.
Someone rigged our harried heroine's umbrella as a practical joke, and the poor thing is now soaked to the skin -- simply drenched!
If only some shining knight could help her out of her clothes to dry them off and keep her warm!

Kai-Anne Black is an agent for S.I.S.
Code-Name : Pepper
Disgusted with the way that the male of the species had messed up the world,
a group of women comprised of doctors, lawyers, scientists, and many others
decided to create an organization dedicated to helping put things right.
They created the Society of International Security to be their private clandestine operations agency.
Heading up this covert organization out of her houseboat in Miami Beach,
through which could be reached via hidden passage the world headquarters
for S.I.S., is Maggie O'Malley, codenamed MOM.
The front for her operation is a world-wide travel agency which
includes a magazine monthly showing all the latest vacation spots.
Sending agents as photographers and models not only gives the group entry to
places they might not normally get but also provides terrific cover as most guards
are male and therefore likely to be admiring the gorgeous models, not suspecting
them of spies.
Acting as another ace reporter, thus giving her reasons for hitting hotspots around the globe, is Kai-Anne Black.
This young, beautiful woman’s Dad was working as C.I.A agent when he
was killed by a Warlord Terrorist. Wanting to search for his Killers, she turned
to MOM and became an agent of S.I.S. After time, she has become
another one of their key agents and at times works with a partner agent when needed.
So if she ever needs help there is always “Salt & Pepper Time” and that works both ways.
Unlike other females the Miss from S.I.S. Agents are oversexed nymphomaniacs spending as much time in bed as in battle.
Quite accurately described as 'wild, pure, swinging, passionettes'.
They are now out for whoopee & Kung-fun.
Everyone else is just bagage in the way.

Yes, yes, I know The Spirit isn't this muscular. Hold your horses and let me e'splain. No there is too much. Let me sum up.
I've always liked Will Eisner's THE SPIRIT. Just as 90% of all comics fans do. And I've always wanted to do a drawing of him but the problem that has confronted me is that he's been done by the greats. Starting with the master Eisner himself, all the way down to the present day with another master Darwyn Cooke and, starting I think with issue 13 of this new series, Mike 'Hugely Underrated' Ploog. I knew I could never come anywhere near the level of any of those guys so I just went for fun and decided to do a super buffed up Spirit. Enjoy. |

Thayne got me wanting to get to drawing again, so I broke out the sketchbook and pencils and cranked out a drawing of my FAVORITE non-super hero, The Phantom. As always, I gave it one of my little redux twists, changing the mask a bit, getting rid of the striped underwear (face it, that look was NOT working), and changing the rest of the costume design slightly.
