I stopped reading comics for a couple years just because I couldn't afford them anymore. Since then I developed means of getting access to major storyarcs through the magic of Barnes and Noble. (Go to rack, pick up TP, plop ass on nearest comfy chair, read, repeat.)
As to the zombie fad. Robot Chicken -- Zombie Idol. Best use of onscreen zombies ever! Zombies in Dungeons & Dragons Online -- Best victims for my cleric's turn undead ability.
