I watched three episodes of Dr. Who and find the writing so bad that I just can't and wont ever get into it. Holy shit... it was horrible. But hey, that is just my opinion... not everyone that likes Dr. Who can have as good of taste as me and recognize bad writing and even worse acting. But alas... (Yeah, screw y'all too. <--- I just say that because I am pretty sure that is going to be in the comments on this post... Somewhere )

In all seriousness... I didn't like the three I watched, but I am treading on... I am going to try and like it. BUT, while I was out playing on FB, one of my Dr. Who uber nerds had this posted.

I post here to get your (The Dr. Who dorks) opinion....Next Dr. Who.... a dame?

While I don't really qualify as a true "Whodork" , I have seen several of the Tom Baker episodes and a couple of the Christopher Eccleston episodes (a few decades later) and enjoyed them. It is my understanding (verified by Wikipedia) that there is only one Dr. Who. He regenerates a new body when a nearly fatal injury occurs and while multiple Dr's have teamed up, it's more like the idea of going back in time and meeting your younger self.
So if you're suggesting Dr. Who become a time travelling, humanoid alien transsexual, well... that would be quite a new wrinkle in time indeed.
