Ok, I hate to take the obvious choice, but I think my character would work best as Wolvie. Feel free to recast me if you think it'd work better as someone else.
Daru' Maa is an expert swordsman (surprise, surprise...

) who possesses the legendary Blade of Tanuki. The spirit of a shape-shifting tanuki demon is imprisoned within the sword and grants the bearer the ability to turn parts or the whole of their body into stone, or marble.
