hey all,
as you may or may not know, there is a live-action
GI JOE film coming out in 2009 and guess what I read?
according to http://comics2film.com, Sienna Miller
has been cast to play The Baroness. the plot, according
to http://imdb.com/title/tt1046173/synopsis:
"Stephen Sommers will direct(here's hoping he'll reign
in the CG), from a script by Stuart Beattie. The story
is set at Brussells-based GIJOE, an acronym for the
Global Intergrated Joint Operatives Entity, and around
an international co-ed force of operatives who use
hi-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed
by a Scottish arms dealer."-Real Movie News 11/20/07
sounds interesting, yes? let's hope it's decent. I
read a couple of the comics and watched the cartoon
when I was younger, but I never really was that much
of a fan. any thoughts about the film?
