I dunno, VampireLover -- have you seen some of the casting and costume decisions that they're making for Superman? I think there might be another thread around here somewhere.... 
I'm with you on the casting of Katie, though. She's a cutie, and it's not like she's lacking "chops," but she just looked too young to be an Assistant DA. A law student, I'd buy, just not a lawyer ... yet. Not a bad call, but I can't help thinking that they missed an opportunity to make a really good movie even better.
