I never read House of M, though from the covers it looks like they're pretty rough on ol' Spidey.

I have been reading a lot about how the folks at Marvel would like to have Spidey not be married, so I wouldn't be surprised. That was kinda my point earlier, is that while the current storyline seems out of character, I think it's probably leading somewhere that's very much in character for poor Petey.
Man, we've gotten pretty off-topic in this thread...
