It's been a while since we've had a fiction challenge around here, so it here goes. This challenge will start May 1st and end July 1st at noon. A poll will go up soon after.
The idea: write a front page article on the death of a superhero. Lifetime accomplishments, how/where it happened, etc. You can use any comic character.
Prize: a custom av & rank as well as a @heromorph e-mail address!

can any member do this , or is it limited to just fan fiction writers? and is it limited on words? I.E. is it supposed to be like a 1000 word article ? if i have more questions , i promise to ask them

cool! i'm thinking of giving this a shot, but i want to have a clear understanding of the rules so bear with all my questions, if a superhero is killed off in an article , do we have to tell who did it? what i mean is, if superman was killed by a busload of kryptonite would we have to say lex luthor did it or could it be like mr jones from the bus company did it?

It could be a crime article, detailing the police investigation as well as discussing the hero himself.

Seeing as how no one submitted anything for this contest I was wondering: was it a bad subject? Or just not challenging enough?
I know around here there isn't much writing, but can some one give me an idea? What sort of a fiction challenge would you like to see?
