I've pictured a whole army of young and attractive actresses playing Supergirl, but among them, my top choices are Kaley Cuoco from "Eight Simple Rules," Allison Mack from "Smallville," Kerri Underwood from "American Idol" and Kristy Swanson, the original Buffy.

Does it really matter... the movie is going to suck no matter who plays her.
Hmmmmm... where have I heard that before....?

I'll add Olivia Wilde to the list. Of course the movie will suck, so make it worth watching for other reasons.

Since you think Supergirl is one of the best female heroes in the comic book world. Who Could be Supergirl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0D0W_xnLTY Have'ta admit the shots of Kellie Pickler might work?

Pickler? OK look but perhaps a far too heavy accent to shed for the role.
Carrie Underwood would work better if ya wanna name Idol contestants.

I hear ya, but that heavy of an accent is not something a voice coach can cure overnight. It takes years, if ever.
Look at Arnold. His accent was so heavy in his first film they actually overdubbed his voice completely, and ever in his more recent outings or in public speeches he still has somewhat of an accent decades later. And he's had plenty of voice coaching.
As for overdubbing, it can range from the totally ludicrous like Hercules in New York (Arnold doesn't even list this on his resume hehehe) to the occasionally excellent as in Greystoke The Legend of Tarzan (Glenn Close overdubbed all of Andie MacDowell's lines since Andie's own accent was too American. A little known fact)
Let's face it, for the overwhelming part ya gotta find an actress who looks the part, can act, and can SOUND the part too.

I bet that if the movie was made. They would try to make it as an utimate Supergirl style.

Quote: Krasch Wrote: Let's face it, for the overwhelming part ya gotta find an actress who looks the part, can act, and can SOUND the part too. WTF? What does a Kryptonian sound like? I know that they sure as hell don't sound like Dean Cain. A total and complete goddess like Gisele Bundchen could play Supergirl and I wouldn't even notice her hot accent. Hmmm... sounds like I like this woman... ooops. But yeah, she could have an accent or be a home cooked as Andie MacDowell... does it really matter though? Because...wait...here it comes...again... because the move would SUCK! Sorry Taz... but it would.

I vote for Victoria Kruz. If she can act, as well as she looks. then it will be a wonderful film.

My latest pick to play Supergirl is 'CASSANDRA LYNN' Playboy playmate Feb 2006.

Jessica has been discussed before, but as shown in these picts, she does have some potential: http://velorian.org/alba5030g.jpghttp://velorian.org/alba_un2.jpgShe's hot and she can act (sort of) and she did well as a mutant superchick on Dark Angel. A Supergirl with attitude would be fun. Shadar
