This looks fabulous!!! Yahoo TV just put the first episode of Heroes online. This show has some serious potential. Check it out and let me know what you think. http://tv.yahoo.com/feature/fall06/?d=503

I watched this last night, and thought it looked great. A bunch of seemingly random people start to discover that they suddenly have superpowers. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for this one.

I'm actually looking forward to this show ! It hasn't shown here yet! Wish that link that B4tm4n put up worked outside the USA? Wonder if anyone else has a link to the entire episode?

This looks like a great show, I hope that I'll be able to catch it when it airs. Is it just me though, or does it remind anyone here of that comic by JMS called "Rising Stars"?

Rising Stars is definitely the first thing I thought of. I never actually read it, but from what I read about it (in Wizard and such), the story was very similar. Almost like a cross between that and the movie Unbreakable.

That bugged me too, jedi. He can absorb the powers, but maybe he can only use one power at a time, and the exploding power was overriding everything else.

It would have been better if he went off and killed the entire cast except Hiro Then next season it could be Hiro trying to figure out how to stop it from happening in the past.

There was an Old episode of the twilight zone. In the episode the main character, some random housewife, developed the ability to stop time. Most of the episode was her doing various things like stopping time and moving door to door salesmen across the street when the rang her doorbell, and other stuff like that. at the end of the episode she stopped time when the news announced that the USA and Russia entered WW3. She went outside and looked up to see a nuclear bomb about 8 feet from the roof of her house.
I think the ending of this season would have been much better if they ended it with Hiro freezing time just as Peter was exploding.

I'm curious. Peter absorbed his TK from Sylar(or did he), so does he have all the powers that Sylar stole? TK was the first power Sylar killed for. His original power is to see the flaws in things. That's why he's a clock repairman. It's easy for him to see what's wrong and know how to fix it.
I love this show. I just wish they would have found a way to make ALL of Isaac's paintings come true.

Did an episode that I missed explain why Sylar has to cut out peoples brains to get their power? I still don't understand that. But who cares... it is cool! I did think the ending was a little lame. But still I left me ready for next season.

To reply to all prevoius posts, yeah I thought Rising stars first of all, but thats o.k I don't mind a bit of borrowing as long as they do it right! I have enjoyed the series I just hope that it doesn't go all LOST next season, the reason it works for me is because the plot points all tie together, it's like someone actually thought about it before drafting in writers lol. Can anyone actually list all the comic book writers that have been involved with it in one way or another, the only one I can remember straight off is Jeff Loeb.
