HM Draw/off #9, Cartoon Characters as Superheroes |
|
|
Ok kiddies, here is your contest for #9. Starchild wants us to take a cartoon character and make them into a superhero. Like Mickey Mouse as Superman or how about Donald Duck as the Spectre? His conditions are that we don't alter the cartoon character, such as a muscle bound Mickey or a 40DD Daisy Duck. Just leave them as is with costumes added. Of course if the Superhero has a certain trait like green skin, then go ahead. You guys are somewhat intelligent, figure it out. So there you go, this one is due by 5 April 2006 by NOON. Oh and I realize we did a similar contest awhile back. That was making cartoon characters evil. Besides, Star won and he can choose whatever he wants, right? And we will be supportive and turn out some great drawings, right? Great. To those of you pencilers out there like Mike, Thayne, VampireLover and others....come on, get involved, I'm sure we'd all love to see what you got. Unless you are scared or something. D@mn I think I missed the Draw Off #5, 6, and 7 Last I remembered was #4 being the cartoon characters gone bad and then #5 being the "take a character that doesn't have a future storyline" contest. What ever came of this? Either way, I resubmitted my original entry for that contest just for viewing purposes. I guess that leaves me w/ 6 and 7... My entry for this one is up now too.

OK Gentlemen and Ladies, it is time for voting. PM me your votes asap.
I want to thank everyone who participated for #9. We had 14 people with 17 entries. Y'all did a fantastic job and all the pics were fun to look at. I hope every contest has this many folks involved.
Like Star said, it would be nice if everyone could comment on the other participants drawings. Who doesn't like feedback? Good Luck.
