A prelim for yet more Baroness art, this time using ReddEra's avat to complete the pose (thanks Redd!). Adjusted the eyes and hair to fit the previous Baroness pics. I see now that the left arm could be a bit problematic though.

Nonsense, co! I see no "problem" areas here. Very seductive pose for this bad-arse babe. Follows very well with the rest of yours in this series. Do I see a compilation book on the horizon? I like the whole series, and this one looks to only compliment and build upon its predecessors.
As for the left arm...hmmm....if you insist on it not being as great as you'd like... Perhaps with a slight twist in her torso, her left elbow could be not quite touching the crate? (Would leave room for a little more cleavage showing to humor the HM fans)
But I still think it already looks pretty darn co_04-ish (which means "awesome") Can't wait to see more.

Moved the left elbow out some and cropped a bit closer. A little more might be "taken off the top" to set off the eyes. If you mean more skin, Mr.dd, your just gonna have to wait for the next "Baroness in the Buff".

Ohhh, this is gonna be a good'un, I can tell already! Thanks for showing us a step in your creative process, Cheif. I'll bet Redd will really like this. [I know her bf will! ]

The eyes in the second sketch look a little like mine. :) I really love this. It's really cool, and interesting even if I wasn't the reference I'd still love it. (well I love all of your stuff that goes with out saying) Great addition to the pose, I was actually laying down but I think this works out better. Yes MF, my boyfriend and I love this. Just wonderful as always and I would be happy to pose for you again. Redd

Adding colors: Initial lay-in to work-up. In this instance I am painting from back to front. This is an old Old Masters technique and a favorite of Ms Redd's good friend loish. Begin with a sepia or umber for your base (as human skin is brown) and simply work up to the lighter colors. As you can see with even a just few steps, the figure is already beginning to look sculptural.

Awesome, co! Cool to see a hint of how you proceed, too. I guess for some reason I always figured you worked light to dark in the shades. A lot I know, huh? Seeing it going from the darker to lighter shades reminds me of the Bruce Timm Batman Animated series method. That show really stood out for it's art style, not necessarily the plot lines. Another classic that was great for it's artistic originality. Once again you've impressed me. Can't wait to see more.

Don't let me fool you, Mr. dd. This is only the second or third time I've used this technique. Almost all my work is done with the standard lay-in-all-the-flats technique, and then model your lights and darks from there. In fact this thread gives me the excuse to remind myself to use this technique more often. It's quicker and uses less layers.

nice choice on the weapon; Uzi's are great for hosing down targets.
the pose is really a fine choice...sexy, provocative, but not too blatant, IMOHO. The expression reminds me somewhat of Jan. 72 Playboy Playmate Marylin Cole: "Ready for a little 'ruff and tumble, Mr. Hefner?"
I see a lot or good work here...and expect a lot more to come

Backgrounds: I want something a little different this time than just a monochrome background. To make it appear that "Noodnik" was still in the Baroness's hideaway bedroom, I'm having her step off of the brown seamless a bit to where you can see the rest of the room. I don't want to put a lot of detail in it. Only that you get the impression, if even abstractly, a sense of space. Just like Redd's pics, you get a sense that she's in a room, but can't make out the detail. Some items were sampled from the previous boudoir pic ( http://heromorph.com/heromorph2/modules/myalbum4/photo.php?lid=12853), the chair from an actual photo and blurred. Most of it is simply dashed in with a brush. Lights and darks will be adjusted accordingly as the foreground figure progresses.

Really fantastic job so far, co. Also, I really like the gif showing us a bit of how you work evolve to what we see done in your amazing images. You, sir, are a master.

Progressing very nicely! Thanks for the insight on your additions, too. Little tips and techniques of the, as OCP so aptly put, "Masters" help us all learn stuff. Even slow folk like me!
One question... You gonna leave her nekkid? (Or will she yet don the mesh top?) ok, that was 2 questions, but they're related.

For the moment she stays in the buff. But being the tease that she is she is not going to let you see anything.
