I don't mind Gwyneth Paltrow , I think shes kind of cute and i may get shit for that but Robert John Downey Jr as Iron Man? that's putting me off from seeing this flick

This just in - Iron Man Armor revealed!!  I can only imagine that at some point in the movie, he'll upgrade to something more like the red and yellow suit we're all familiar with, but I think this is kind of a cool looking version of the old 'first appearance' armor.

Well this image made me reconsider. This is very close to what his original grey armor looked like. I miss the antenna on the shoulder, but it'll do. As I recall he built the armor to help escape from the (Korean?) research facility he was being forced to build a weapon for. Some old guy helped him, and was killed for it. At least, that's my ancient memory of it.

I can never tell if Shade is being sarcastic... I think Downey's a great actor, and should be able to fill the role pretty well. And Chilly, the most recent thing I've seen him in was A Scanner Darkly, which was pretty decent. Now Norton as the Hulk I'm not too sure about. He's another great actor, I'm just not seeing him in that part.

The only thing Downey Jr. has been in lately is fucking Rehab... and jail... and rehab... and jail... and rehab. He is a flake and he is worthless as an actor. Macaulay Culkin, as a child, had more range than this retard has now. His voice, as an adult, actually reminds me of Macaulay Culkin as a child... maybe they are related. If he stays in the armor the ENTIRE movie and James Earl Jones does the voice of Iron man... then and only then will it be decent.  Robert Downy "Crack head" Junior... Fucking Looser.

Lighten UP, Jr!  First off, what's the script like? Is it something that He can / can't handle? Is there any 'chemistry' between Him and the others? Has He been keeping it on the 'straight and narrow'? Until we see the movie ( or get parts of it offa U-Tube ) let's all take a "wait and see" attitude, ok? Personally, I thought that the adaption of the Dick novel wasn't too shabby...but, I've never really been a big Phillip K Dick fan.  Now, Spider Robinson, on the other hand...
