Thought I'd try my hand at a more 'realistic' version of Superman. Didn't turn out very realistic at all but oh well. Plus, it looks more like SuperBOY. At least in the face.

That is true, he does look kinda young. I had the same problem a while ago. Widen his head a little, give him a squarer jaw then, voila he's a man! Also the lower half of his upper arm looks funky.
If you already knew this stuff, sorry. I am trying to help both the artists who post and the artists who look at you're stuff.

I do believe you are right. Weird thing is, I was watching that Bulletproof Monk movie and I noticed that on that young guy when he had his arm folded at one point in the movie the bulge of his tricep was way down closer to the elbow. So I started watching for it in other movies and noticed the same thing. So, seeing this, I tried to do that but it just ended up looking weird.

Aside from his wings seeming to come out of his spine instead of his shoulder blades, this looks like a very accurate rendition. I like the redesign. Looks more like a birdperson's version of a shirt than the suspenders look I'm accustommed to. Good job!

P.S. This is merely obsevation, not critique, as there is nothing wrong with it. I notice Hawkman's face is also narrow. I can't tell if that is your style or just carryover from Superboy. Like I said before, this is perfectly fine, but I wanted to point it out in case it helps you.
