Acctually, the budget is being reported to be 30 million. Not 50. CGI is pretty expensive, so that's why I'm worried. Still, you can get pretty far with being smart, and the trailer is promising.

...actually I can't give you an opinion or review of the film because anything I think of could be a spoiler.
But I do find the first-person-am-cam-constantly-shaky-and-blurry camerawork annoying. My friend felt sick afterwards.
And you know how in real life when someone keeps saying someone else's name over and over, "Max. Max. Max. Max. Max. Max. Max. Max." And that person won't answer? And hearing it just gets really annoying? Well it turns out it's annoying in the movies as well.
I will do a review of the person who sat next to me: The person who sat next to me at Cloverfield was a teenage boy. He was very annoying, he was constantly moving and shaking the seats. He scratched a lot and made a lot of random jerky movements, I thought he might be epileptic. The boy had a bag of M&Ms or something and crinkled the bag constantly from the beginning to the very end of the movie, I think it was emptied about half way through but he kept crinkling the bag loudly. He ate with his mouth open and pushed his elbows too far over the arm rest, I eventually moved to another seat. I do not recommend sitting next to this boy, I give him half a star out of five.
