Just to let you know, I've posted the teams to Max and he'll be getting back to me tonite (hopefully) to okay everything. Then we're good to go. We'll email you out your partners email adresses once we've confirmed things.

So that you all know how it happened. I took the lists above. I then generated 12 random numbers using the random number generator at www.random.org. I then assigned the numbers according to the list of C2f'ers. So the first number for example 4 was assigned to my name. That meant that I was paired up with person number 4 in the Heromorph list;Flux. Those weren't the real numbers btw :P

That clear for everyone? Oh, and StatXero (number 13), we've provisionally put you in a group of three, I hope that is okay with you?

Ok, I am back! Now, just so I'm completely up to date:

- I've been contacted by my counterpart. Deadline is August 8.

- How we vote has not been decided/set up/whatever. Hawk, I don't like the idea of using the HMorph rating system because it is way too easy to compromise. So-Email votes, Max? something at C2F, perhaps? (Ask for Essex...)

I have been looking around for a free poll but the all tend to give a limit of 10 choices (as luck would have it we have 11 teams, hmmm... maybe I could assassinate a team...).

I quite like the idea of emailing in your votes. Then maybe people could vote twice? Best teamwork and best overall manip.

From reading the c2f thread it sounds like everyone is off to a good start. I still have not started. but we have 2 out of 4 base pictures, Mike has started on one of his sections and it is coming along very nicely (he gave me a preview).

brick and i have pretty much laid out the image, agreed on characters, and an overall atmosphere to the piece. he started whipping up some stuff for his character and i just got my first pass done on my character. we swap the images back and forth and see what the other thinks and steer in that direction.

overall, a very positive experience.

as far as why more of us don't come over here to play....honestly it's just my surfing habit. i'm used to hitting C2F daily and posting. i'm sure it's also a feeling of loyalty to the site as well, it's where i've always gone and posted. not that there is anything wrong with heromorph (in my opinion you guys were hit a little to hard by some of our artists, it's the net for god's sake...if someone can sell their kidney on ebay....then you better bet someone will steal your work and post it...and in some cases claiming it as theirs), it's just c2f has always been home. i can still come over here and play, as long as you will have me.

I think DK and I are relatively close to done. I've finished the costuming for my character. It's not going to be as interesting artistically as some of my work (or, some of the other collaborations, probably), but I have very little time to spare for this. I knew in advance that I'd have time problems, mind you, and still wanted to participate. I'm glad I could in fact do so!

As for coming here to play... I do check this site out fairly regularly, once every 2-3 days. I look at the art and try to regularly read the MBs. I just don't have time to participate too actively here, so I'm mostly a lurker. Plus, like Dan said, C2F is my online home. I'll always be more active there than I am here, probably. But I will try to be a bit more active, when I can... I really ought to start commenting on the art, if nothing else. I've been told I do that quite well.

Do we have to post our work until agost 7th.?

BTW everyone voting will be via emailing myself or Juvenile Mike, either a PM or I will post my hotmail later.
We will then announce the winning team after voting is over.
This is for 2 reasons, firstly so no one knows who came last, or second to last, or fifth to last.
The second reason is the poll function here still doesn't seem to be working.

Entries that are posted late will not get any votes (so they don't get an advantage of more time) - and will be ineligible to win the <B>HUGE</B> imaginary <B>CASH PRIZE!!!</B>
