Seen the item, and while she's got kind of a Lynda Carter vibe thing going, I think Whedon is looking for less camp and more serious gravitas, and Henstridge can provide that.
As much as I have the McPheever, she's just not right for Whedon's film. Maybe a cameo as an Amazon or something, but definitely not the lead.

I just found out she is also the chick on Blade.
Her jaw-line is a tad masculine; she doesn't look the same on the series as she does in the commercials, but I still think she would be a good choice.
Unfortunately I cannot find any decent pictures of her to test my theory.

If Ms. Wagner is tall enough, she'd make a decent Diana I'd say.
Based on her performance in Blade, she is great at the action stuff.

It's not Rachel Bilson. I just checked Whedonesque. They have a link to an interview with her and when she was asked, she had no clue who Joss was. In fact she thought the interviewer said Jodie Sweeten.
