My favorite was Valiant.
I really liked a nuber of their titles that was before Acclaim took them over and screwed it all up.

Broadway comics was Lorne "SNL" Michaels' foray into comics. Jim Shooter was his Editor in Chief. Their best title was Fatale. About a busty, somewhat slutty chick who gains Rogue-like powers, it was a showcase for artist J. G. Jones.

Len Miller & Sons Ltd. Apart from the Fawcett reprints, they produced many new comics and characters, superhero and otherwise.
