Someone please explain to me Carnage and the son of Carnage... whatever the hell his name is.

I know the story of Venom... he has been around forever... but I don't know how Carnage and ? came into being. Did Venom knock up some High School chick? Or did one of his poops come to life a grow legs? And how did Carnage have a son.

I barely even know how Venom came about. I hear it had something to do with a guy named Eddie, and Mr Fantastic blastin the suit offa Peter.

I did hear something about a piece of Venom came off and bonded with some psycho dood. And that was Carnage. So who was the chick and how'd she come up?

Yeah Eddie was in prison with the guy that became carnage, ne was a nut job before he even became carnage. But he was bugging the hell out of brock and brock treatened to kill him as the guy was screaming a piece of the the venom symbiote went down the guys throught and started merging with him from the inside out. he was so pyscotic that he bonded with and became carnage. where venom always speaks in that weird " WE will kill spider man. We wil have OUR revenge on parker" Carnage was so messed up that he could refer to himself in first person.

Carnage begot Toxin some where there was Hybrid - He is the amalgamation of four of the Life Foundation Symbiotes (Riot, Phage, Lasher, and Agony) - whose hosts were killed by Scream ( Carnages sister)


Here is the full details..THE WHOLE VENOM CLAN

I'll have to hunt out my Amazing Spiderman but I believe it was a bit different.
Eddie and the other guy were sharing a prison cell when the symbiote broke through the wall to re-bond and rescue Eddie.
However a scrap of the symbiote was torn off and left behind, in it was a seed that became another symbiote and bonded with whatshisface.

In the first Venom limited series they captured Venom and extracted more seed to make another 5 or 6 symbiotes.

My carnage was based on the Spiderman cartoon lol same one where they said vemon was attached to the shuttle that JJJ RR was in when it crashed. instead of the secret wars from where it was born.

basically, the symbiotes reproduce asexually by budding; ie a piece breaks off, and becomes a "new symbiote. When Spidey was captured during the first Secret Wars, his costume got pretty beat up on the Beyonder's Battleworld. At the heroes base, Spidey ran into the new Spider-woman (Julia Carpenter), in a black and white costume. She said there was a machine that could make any clothing you desired. Spidey went looking for it, but instead found a mysterious black goo, that "became" his new black costume. It could respond to his mental commands, morph into street clothes, and make it's own webbing. After the heroes returned, Spidey kept his new black costume. Hwever, he discovered that it was slowly taking control of him. He went to Mr. Fantastic, to have him examine it. Reed discovered that it was a living being, trying to bond with Peter. Mr. F captured it, releasing Spidey. After several attempts to re-bond with Peter, it bonded with a reporter that also hated Spidey. Their mutual hatred created Venom....

Later, when Eddie Brock and Venom were seperated and Eddie was in prison, the symbiote attempted to rescue Brock. While escaping, a "seed" broke off and bonded to Brock's cellmate Kletus Kassidy (think Ted Bundy and Hannibal Lecter). This symbiote became Carnage, and has all the abilities (and weaknesses) of Venom. Later, the govt. tried to create it's own team of symbiote agents. Of course, this did not go well, and all the symbiotes were absorbed into Hybrid, then later killed. Years later, Carnage decided to "spawn". Venom know that this symbiote could be a threat, and tried to kill it's "grandchild" before it could bond with a human. Venom and Carnage fought, and the seed bonded with a cop. This good man has tried to break the cycle of violence, by becoming the vigilante Toxin, although his "other" sometimes crosses the line, as it is still learning...the end *phew*
