I thought I could handle Gwyneth as Pepper. Hey, if I could buy Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane, I could buy anything, but Hilary Swank as the Black Widow?! And here all along I thought that part was supposed to be played by a woman. Now Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury? That's cool.

When I first heard about Downey getting the role I thought the movie stood no chance. Add Gwenyth and Swank... OMG. I actually like the look of the trailer and knowing Jackson will be in it might help from the headache those girls will give me.

When does this come out again?

Hillary Swank as Black Widow. OMG! This movie has enough to overcome without this miscasting. The trailers I have seen look ok, but most of the casting seems way off. Have to wait for the movie to see if this works out.

My main concern is Jeff Bridges. Dude sucks ass.
I also think that from the May Release Date they have planed, the Studio thinks it is Shite as well.

Sorry Dar... Ultimate Universe or not... Nick Fury is a cracker. It was kinda like casting Vin Rhames... wait, no the other Giant.... Michael Clarke Duncan as King Pin. Come on.... It just goes against everything that we grew up with. I don't fear change... just fear changing all the characters I grew up with. Although that image that Dar posted does look a lot like Mace Windu. I am sure Samuel will do a great job though.

I know nadda about pretty much everything mentioned.But I think that pic Dar posted looks like Samual L. Jackson. I actually thought Dar drew that just to make his own point.
I stil think they should shoot all they're casting directors (or whoever it is responsible for the casting trageties) and hire some well-informed fanboys to do the job. Then these movies might actually have a fighting chance!

I like the coloured Cyberman. You think that would be commonplace, they would get custom paint jobs to tell each other apart.

As for casting a terrible actress as Wonder Woman... if you accept that the movie is going to be terrible anyway then you might as well have some eye candy on the screen.
And it is common knowledge that unless an actress is a superstar they can convince her to get her boobies out on film.
Then it doesn't matter how terrible the movie is... half the population would buy a ticket (and a DVD, for research purposes).
