The problem with a JLA (and to a lesser extent, Avengers) movie is where do they find a villain bad and powerful enough to be a credbile threat to all the JLA at once?

If they they make solo movies for the characters first then that means they don't have to explain the characters. But if this is Wonder Woman's, Flash's, green Lantern's etc first movie then they each need to have an 'origin' in the movie which will slow things down.

Don't get me wrong, but it's the kind of things fans wish for that probably should never happen, like I used to think it would be cool if they put Aliens and Predators in the smae movie... but it mostly sucked.

That's so true. It was why X3 had so many problems. Although I wouldn't say the JLA movie should never happen, I would agree now is not the time.

About the villain, at IMDB they say it will be Doomsday. But hey, they also say this movie is due in 2010, so I hope things change until then, maybe even shut the all project down, because from what I read increase my certain that it will suck. Of course, we never can tell...
btw: Agree with you on the AVP movie, chilly. I read somewhere they gonna try a second, is that true?

Yes Aliens versus Predator: Requiem has been completed. There are previews at the movies and on the web www.avp-r.com/

It takes place right after the first.

Preview looks good, but the other day my friend and I both commented at the same time that even really bad movies look good in previews and posters.

Darkwinter999, what I think kill X3 was the all plot. Come on...They start by killing the main characters, that's a bad sign. And now what? They gonna bring them back for X4?

Totally. They really need a doover. The plot was the main thing. I also hated the Pheonix split personality thing. But adding so many new mutants without introducing them hurt it even more (if that's even possible).
