I saw it yesterday.

I don't want to spoil it, but I will say this -
I wanted to hold that movie upside-down and shake it to see if a plot would fall out.

I know exactly what you mean, chilly. The action was really cool and all, but at the end I was still going "but how..." "and why..." "and whatever happened to...". Don't get me wrong, I'll probably go see it again, I'll buy the dvd when it comes out, but the perfect X Men movie would still be some kind of combination of this one and X2.

the movie itself was great. the fighting scenes were a hell of a lot better. some parts were really depressing. yes, jean dies but the way they did it was...wow. stay after the credits, you'll get quite a shock.

I saw the movie and yes the fight scenes are great, but there are several plot holes. If this is supposed to be the last of these movies they sure left it open for another one. I did like the movie overall and will buy it on DVD when it comes out.

Yeah Someone who went to see it on the weekend told me that the people who left at the movies end and didn't stay for the final credits missed the surprize at the end of the rolling Credits?!?

So I guess the word is stay till the lights come on?

already heard what the suprise is. I'm not suprised. And on Jean dying. Seriously, she's died like 37 times. Prof X died like 12 times himself. The only 2 to ever die and stay dead are Warlock and Thunderbird. I would say Doug, but he showed up again too

and I'm still pissed they killed Warlock.

I saw it today and I enjoyed it. Granted, it could have had a better plot. But hell, I'm there for the mutants and fight scenes anyway.

Who was the chick with the purple hair with Callisto near the end? The one who went through the wall?

And wasn't Arclight Iceman's sister in Spiderman and his Amazing Friends?

Did anyone else think it was weird that the Prof didn't even give Cain a glance?

Glad to see Moira and Multiple Man. Where was Jubilee? She was credited but I guess i missed her. And Rogue? Happy they added extra muties. Hope there's another one with even more chracters... and a plot.

I'll be seeing it again.

And I loved Wolvie's line "Grow those back."

It was Psylocke. I was confused about that scene as well, as that's the only time you see her using any powers. I looked it up, and apparently she can teleport using shadows . I would've much rather seen the dagger...

They must've decided that making Juggy the Professor's half-brother would've taken too much explaining.

She was in one of the classroom scenes for about a second.

Other thoughts:
-I thought the Omega Red cameo was kinda cool.
-There definitely should've been a Colossus/Juggernaut fight scene.
-You think Mystique...sorry...Raven was actually trying to help the feds, or just setting them up for Madrox's "decoy"?
-"I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!!"

I really need to see it again. The more I think about it, the more I'm disappointed, but when I first came out of the theater I thought it was the best movie ever.

Also, should we add a *spoilers* to the title of this thread?

Here's some of my input...

Colossus holding onto rogue in the beginning was cool and having that debris bounce off was funny.

Fastball special was more like Olympic Discus special.

Iceman finally icing up was sweet along w/ the added effect of some chunks of ice breaking off when he head butt'd Pyro.

Would've been cool to see Angel carry Colossus and drop him like a wrecking ball. Heck, it would've been cool to see Angle do more than just fly and be all EMO.

Anyone remember Hank McCoy in X2? He was shown on the TV during one of the scenes. IMDB Hank McCoy

Some things I need answered:

- During the scene when Pyro was fireballing the cars... Wolverine and Storm was conversing "Let's do it as a team", if you notice in the background Colossus is cowering behind $hit. WHY IS COLOSSUS COWERING behind $hit? Falling cars of fire shouldn't do anything to him!

- Arclight is a really nasty looking girl. (not really a question, just wanted to say that)

- There were no shadows in that hallway where Psylocke appeared. She pulled a "cloaking" power and not the whole 'hiding in shadows' as mentioned. I too would've rather seen the psy-blade.

- The 'cure' ammo that the soldiers were using all contained needles... So why did Magneto have no power against those?

- I don't think that was Omega Red. The actor credited for playing Omega is thin and a white dude. The guy in the film was dark and ethnic. (I could be wrong, I only saw the flick once so far)

- Juggernaut's powers could technically be 'magical' still in this movie. Did Leech have powers over 'magical' as well as mutates? If he didn't then having Juggy's powers removed as he tried to ram them would explain that he wasn't magical in this series.

- Kid Omega!?!? Why the heck did he have Porquipine quills? What's up with changing his powers? Kid Omega Bio

- Anyone else notice Chris Claremont?

- How did Wolverine find the camp so easily?

I'm sure I'll come up w/ more. That's it for now.

Great! We finally get Psylocke and she's killed right off. I wondered if it might be here because after the Crimson Dawn i knew she could go through walls. However she had the red slash oer her eye after that. And I didn't think they would kill her off so fast.

I missed a bunch of muties I guess. Have to watch it again. This time to see who's where. Omega Red? Missed him completely.

Who was the guy throwing antelope antlers out of his flesh?

Next time around I want to see: Marrow, Blink, Emma Frost, Rogue (with powers, including flight), Gambit (if even briefly), and bring on Sinister and his bunch of freaks (especially Vertigo). Of course I could add more.

Do an Apacolypse Now story line maybe?

Antelopes actually don't have antlers... their "horn" is made of congealed hair...

Haven't seen the movie yet... so I can't comment.

After I read VL's comment, I decided that I had better not read anymore of this thread... So, no... other than knowing that Psylocke dies right offf the bat... there was nothing ruined... But Thanks VL for ruining that for me.

I was assuming that the "Antelope" guy was Omega Red because of the way those things came out of his forearms. Also, you have to look reeeeally close, but Psylocke does have a mark on her eye.
