I was just putzing through the net and discovered an
interesting item on www.moviefone.com. I don't know
who here's a SIN CITY fan, but the site said that Ms.
Angelina Jolie is "in serious talks" to play the lead
lady in SIN CITY 2. should be interesting, though I
am really not familiar with the whole series. just the
first book. comments? by the way, the link is this:

should be interesting. supposedly, she is also considered
for the next Bond film as Vesper Lynd.

I read that Sin City 2 will be an adaptation of A Dame To Kill For and new yarns that Frank Miller will write for the film. You can read more @ IMDB.Angelina would be playing Dwight's EX, Ava Lord, who betrayed him and is back to cause him more grief. Someone has already made a fan-poster for the sequel:

One thing I heard is that she is rumoured to be Cast as Catwoman in Batman 3.
It's probably bullshit, but I think that bit of casting info is more interesting then the Sin city one.

Hmmm...
let's see...yeah, Jolie maybe a hottie, but her personality keeps her from being good in either role.
Not dark enough for any character in the Sin City series, of which I am a huge fan.
And seeing as how Catwoman is my favorite all-time DC character, (yeah PG has bigger assets, so she's in the top 5),
I just don't see Angie as the fit for Selina.
She's been great in some of her movies, and horrible in others.
This kind of inconsistency has warped my opinion of her acting skills, and thus has left me unwilling to accept her in the Pussycat Prowler role.

OK, anybody buying any of that?
Just trying to exercise my B.S. degree.

Seriously, though, I think she might do better in the Sin City
flick than as Catwoman.
But let's see Selina done right. Pfeiffer came close to pulling it off, the attitude was close in quite a few scenes.

And one of the best ever was Julie Newmar.

Now if we can get a current version of the two mixed...

And yeah, definitely don't make the movie if the script sucks!
