hey kids,

what is up? I was wondering if anyone here as ever
read ALPHA FLIGHT. it's a fun little series about a
group of mutants who could be called "Canada'a version
of the X-men". I have a number of issues and I find
them entertaining. I find myself musing that maybe
there should be a movie with them. if so, who would
be cast as who. I was thinking:

James Hudson/Guardian-Ryan Reynolds
Heather Hudson/Vindicator-Trish Stratus
Walter Langowski/Sasquatch-Nathan Fillion
Nayra/Snowbird-Scarlett Johanssen
Jean-Paul Baubier/Northstar-Michael Buble
Jeanne-Marie Baubier/Aurora-Bianca Beauchamp
Madison Jefferies/Box-Joshua Jackson
Lillian Crawley/Diamond Lil-Natasha Henstridge

What about Puck? I guess he isn't part of the team anymore. I actually used him as a reference for Steve. I read Alpha Flight when it was first released(Early 80s). As a matter of fact, Northstar was the first openly gay superhero. I don't know if it was the first in comics... but he was the first at Marvel. Back in the day, it was a very good comic. Not to mention I LOVE John Bryne's artwork.

Oh, and I don't know how they brought Gaurdian back from the dead... but I liked him better that way. That was a shock when they killed him off in #11 or #12. Short life for him!

But, I do not have any ideas for casting.

Ryan Reynolds?? really?? come on, we can do better than that.

well, sorry DI, but I'm casting Canadian celebs
that I've actually heard of. I just thought of
Elizabeth Twoyoungmen/Talisman. I was thinking
either Gail Kim or Irene Bedard from POCHAHONTAS.
any other idea?
