Do I have to register?
Registering

Registration will be required if you plan to post pictures in the galleries, Make comments on pictures.

You also get a lot more access. Registered Members get access to additional galleries, online comic books, and also browse the site with out the Google Advertisements.

Registration is free, and you are not required to post your real name. You are required to post your actual email address, however. You Must be 18 years old or older to register.
How can I use smilies?
Smilies
You've probably seen others use smilies before in email messages or other bulletin board posts. Smilies are keyboard characters used to convey an emotion, such as a smile or a frown . This site will automatically converts certain smilies to a graphical representation. For example, if you type the smilie code in your BB post, it will automatically be converted into the smilie represented by that code. Can I add UBB code to my messages?
Using UBB Code
You will be able to use UBB Code in your posts. Every time you post a new message, the UBB Code that you may use is posted at the bottom of the message box. UBB Code is similar to HTML, but offers just a few basic functions, such as hyperlinking, image display, bolding and italicizing.
What are moderators & Heralds?
Moderators <br />Moderators control the forums. They can edit, delete, or prune any posts in the forums. If you have a question about a particular forum, you should direct it to a moderator. The Moderators of Heromorph are: Biohaz_Daddy, JrMcDeath, OCP, Daruma, Winterhawk, Tartanninja<br /><br />Heralds<br />Heralds are like Moderators with less duties. currently we have the following heralds. Skurge (Skurge is also a moderator of the Store section of the site)
How can I change my registration profile?
Changing Your Profile
You may easily change any info stored in your registration profile, using the " View Account" link located near the top right of the front page the click the Edit account button at the top of the page. This can only be done when you are logged in. You may change any items, except your username. If you wish to change your username, please contact a Moderator.
Can I customize my settings in any way?
Customizing User Preferences
As a registered user, you may store your username in memory for up to one year at a time. You may also set what avatar you would like to have beside your posts and comments, how the messages in the forums appear, forum signatures and more.
Are cookies used?
Cookies
Heromorph uses cookies to store the following information: the last time you logged in, your username , and your preferred "topic view", if you set it in preferences. These cookies are stored on your browser. Cookies are not used to track your movement or perform any function other than to enhance your use of Heromorph. If your browser does not support cookies, or you have not enabled cookies on your browser, many of these timesaving features will not work properly. Also, you need to have cookies enabled in your browser if you want to enter the members gallery.
Adding Signatures
You may use a signature (commonly used in email messages) on your posts in the forums. Signatures will not show on comments made in the galleries. Once you have a signature stored, you can choose to include it any post you make by checking the "attach signature" box when you create your post. You may also change your signature at any time by changing your profile.

Note: You may not use HTML in your signature file, but you may use UBB Code.
And if you want to use an image in your signature, it's possible BUT you have to store it in any free storage site like Photobucket.
Can I search?

Searching For Specific Posts
You may search for specific posts based on a word or words found in the posts. Just enter your keywords into the site search engine located on the left hand side of the screen.
What do I do if I lost my username and/or password?
Lost User Name and/or Password
Retrieving your username and password is simple, just click the lost password link on the front page and then enter your e-mail address. Your password will be send to you via E-Mail. If you have an Old e-mail or incorrect e-mail in your user account this feature will not work probably, so try to keep your account info updated.
What are ranks?
What are ranks?
Ranks are just a fun way to show site participation. They measure the number of posts a member has made in the forums and as comments in the galleries. Currently the ranks are as follows: Vigilante 0-50 posts, Sidekick 51-100, Mutant 101-200, Super hero 201-500, Supreme Being 501-1000, Thug 1001-1075, Henchman 1076-1150, Super Villain 1151-1300, Arch Nemesis 1301-1600, Criminal Mastermind 1601-2100. What is after that is a secret. Also the Moderators can give away Custom ranks as prizes or if you donate and get an extended Gold Membership.
What are avatars?
What are avatars?
Avatars are a graphical representation of your digital self, the little pictures that appear beside your posts and comments. Currently Heromorph offers a wide variety of avatars to choose from.

It is also possible to have a custom avatar. To have a custom avatar you have to make 100 posts or more for the custom avatar upload be available for you.
