It's with a saddened heart that I will not be able to join in on the festivities of the contest this year. We'll be moving in October and it's going to cut my free time very shortly for the month of October.

However, September is just starting and you know what that means: We are just one month away from our Halloween themed challenge.
And with that in mind, and since the Halloween challenge is as usual, a teams effort... we decided to make the September Challenge kind of a preparation for that... or to serve as inspiration, whatever... The important is to have some fun!
Now, The Rules:
You must create an image (or as many as you want), with the theme being Classic Horror Movies. What makes a movie Classic? Let's say, to make this simple: Any horror movie made until the 80's ...
Must be Regular Gallery approved.
You can use movie posters or movie screenshots and change the original characters to any politician, actor, singer... Heck! Let's say, any celebrity.
Important: They MUST be changed according to the themed image. Wich means, Don't just slap Trump's face into Jason's and call it a day. It must be edited as part of the movie...
Basically, Pick a famous actor/actress, politician, whatever and turn it into a zombie, vampire, hunchback, whatever as long as it's creepy and related to classic horror movies...
For your inspiration, we use some images from the Web on our promo image above. Trump is on most of them and for that, we apologize but in our defense, try seaching the web for horror images and most of them are about that guy.
Make it funny, make it with a story, whatever you can imagine.
Have Fun! Be Creative and Original!
To participate, create as many images as you like and post them at the category Monthly and other challenges (Again,Please, keep it regular gallery ), and as Title: HM Classic Horror: your title
You have until the end of October to post your image(s).
Also, remember to sign up for our Halloween Annual Event: Heromorph-O-Ween.

This is such an honor having Heromorph post my comic. Each issue will be coming out once a month so hopefully I can have the entire series done on a timely schedule. Book two will be posted in a couple of weeks.
And yes, the Ultraverse was the first to go because Marvel ended them anyway.
I always felt that the Ultraverse should have gone out with a bang instead of a whisper.
I hope you all enjoy the story!

MMmm,,,So Good so far? I don't know I figured the first choices were made for reality as Marvel did destroy the Ultraverse? So I wonder which Verse and characters go into Book two?
Our fellow heromorpher daswook has been working in an adaptation of DC's mega-saga Crisis on Infinite Earths, but like if instead to DC it was Marvel doing that mega-event...
I don't want to spoil anything, so If you're curious to read what he's been up to,
Choose one of the options below, go read the story and come back here to let him know what you think.
Normal Viewer:
and if you want to experience the power of the fullscreen viewer:
Full Screen Viewer:
Enjoy!

Sadman makes a brilliant entrance with a funny little secret about the Daleks:
There is more than a week until the deadline. Enough time for you to join in and post your image... ...Or are you afraid to share with us that you play with toys?

Dragondack is leading the challenge again with another image:
Talk about not being inspired as he said.
Note: By this challenge rules as stated on my first post... Quote:
You can use screenshots from movies that contains toys (Toy Story, The Lego Movie), BUT only toys are allowed for this challenge. And yes, we are counting Legos as toys.
..., this image shouldn't be allowed.
I'm going to let it pass this time and this time only because I don't think the joke would work otherwise. Please, Dragondack, play according to the rules in your future images.
And the rest of you... Are you really going to let him have all the fun? Again?

bhm1954 was mostly a coloring guy, which means that he was mostly known for his coloring of others art... But that was not all he was known for.
As proved by his many comments in others art and by his attempts at photo-manipulation, long gone from the archives here at HeroMorph but not unnoticed or forgotten!
We try not to be too personal as we write these little homages but when it comes to bhm1954, that is unavoidable as he touched us all in some way or another.
I still remember when I was trying to learn more about digital art, and most of my early images were utterly crap, but none the less bhm1954 always had a word of encouragement that was at times, just enough to make us try again... and again... and again...
His critiques were thoughtful and even when they showed areas where improvement could be made, they still always managed to be kind and encouraging.
I think one of the things I admire so much about bhm1954 is the way he had been encouraged by the HeroMorph community and gave back even more encouragement to others in the community.
At one time or another, he was that person that with his simple comment and all around sympathy made a huge difference in our lives.
We at HeroMorph salute bhm1954 for his many contributions here, through both his art and his words as well as his kindness and encouragement and for that, we'd like to show our appreciation as we add him to our list of legendary members in the HeroMorph'sHall of Fame!
... A couple of years ago I came across the Heromorph web site and decided to try my hand at digital art. ... By the way, I do enjoy doing the digital art and do it just for the fun of it. I don't ever expect to be as good as most of you or get paid for doing the art but I still enjoy it all the same. bhm1954
