So I decided to color a pic for the Jinky Coloring Challenge
So I'm normally not one to share a lot of process but when it comes to coloring, I take a pretty basic approach. This is the first step. First, choose an image. Since I love Jinky and I love Wonder Woman, her take on Wondy was an easy choice here. Next I add a few of flat colors on Wondy and Bats and window between. This gives me a base to consider how to arrange all the other colors around it. I'm already regretting using grey for the alien armor/tech body.

Still showing you how easy the Jinky Coloring Challenge is.

So next I lay out all my flat colors (well, most of 'em... you get the idea). I've kept my starting point colors and tried to work around them with other colors. Well, I did change the armor color but it's an easy fix at the early stage. The Flats could be considered a finished coloring job in some cases. You could win this contest and prize with just flats! But I'm not done. I've still got to add some light and dark to those tones to try and make them pop a bit more.

So here's my finished entry for Jinky Coloring Challenge.

All the colors from my flats are still used here. The last part for me is mostly dodge and burn and this is where the coloring really starts to compliment the shapes in the drawing.
Fortunately, all you non-mods don't have to compete against me to win.
