If you liked the work of Darwin Cooke, this is highly evocative of that style. It's called Superman: the Golden Age.It is very much influenced by that golden age in tone and style. I have instantly been turned into a HUGE Adrien van Viersen fan! I rate this as easily among the best superman comics I've ever read. You can really see his fondness for those old stories. A lot of love went into this outstanding comic. 5 stars.
