The challenge for this month is a blast from the past.
You must draw, manip, render, or what ever a image the contains characters from the old valiant line of comic books.

the image can not have characters from any other comic universe to be eligible for this monthly challenge.

Action scenes, Pinups, posters, comedy images, advertisments, and more are all welcome, just make sure they are valiant related.

The due date for this challenge is Nov 30/2005.
The winner will be decided by a poll and the winner will get a custom avatar or rank. to keep for themselves or give to a friend.

Well now this I can hardly wait for,I loved the Valiant universe and characters!
I just hope there is alot of submitions for this brilliant idea.

Holy crap! What an awesome idea!! Force and I were going over what challenges we'd like to see in the future, but this is better than the ones we were thinking. Good stuff!

Awwwwwww man! I was contemplating doing a piece from the Valiant/Image crossover! Crap!

Hey Shade....WTF? So you saying my ideas weren't very good? What's up with that? lol. I still think making supers out of household appliances is a great idea. I was suprised to notice I actually have a Valiant comic. If I have time I'm on it.

Some of our ideas were good, but the Valiant one requires less silliness and creativity so it'll probably be more accessible to people.

I plan to do a pic with Solar, X-O Manowar and Turok.

I'm thinking Magnus Robot Fighter, and possibly Bloodshot

I don't think I ever read one comic... if I recall, the artwork sucked so badk in all their titles that I never picked one up. Oh well, you Valiant geeks have fun!

Of course, technically some of the Valiant Universe titles were "re-imaginings" of some Gold Key comics of the 60's. Doctor Solar, Magnus, and Turok for instance. So I guess it's OK to use these characters, despite

Jr like any comic company some of the art wasn't that good and some of it was Great.

Was, what I meant by that was people might try to do crossover pictures, like Image, nexus or something along those lines. or maybe include a DC or marvel character.

If the character had a title or was a re-occuring character in the valiant universe you can do a picture of him.

Why must everyone always complicate things?
