Speaking of my older sister...last year, as you might remember, She had to have a masectomy...breast cancer. I announced it here at Heromorph, and begged everyone to get their loved ones checked out; this was nothing to mess around with.

Well, 2 weeks ago, Betty had another check-up...and the good news is that there are no signs that 'Mr C' has returned. But, we gotta wait 5 years with no return to be sure.

So, once again, think about your loved ones...think what it might be like if you lose them to this...not a nice thought, is it?

Since the Amazing Amazon IS Mediterranian originally, someone playing devil's advocate could point out that Lynda Carter was too "white bread" to really look the part.

I loved Lynda Carter, but I think this rumour could very well be true. Joss Whedon is set on picking a relatively unknown actress for the part, which is a strategy that's worked for several other heroes we all know.

And while Ms. Chopra has a lot of Bollywood credits to her name, she's not got a lot of name recognition in the North American side of the pond, which essentially makes her an unknown. Plus her ethnicity would probably boost foreign ticket sales.

No to mention she's the right age bracket, she's got a nice enough rack, and she's hot.
