Rough ink style! (like me) Looks Good! You did a real nice job for an early effort with a tablet. My own such tries are even rougher than my real world inks.

The helmet/head position looks a bit low proportionally, making him look like he has a tiny head, or no neck.

It looks good. But... no one can hide their chin behind their pecks... well, no one in shape at least. So, his head is way too low. But as a whole, the "ink" style looks good.

Dude this is cool, I look forward to seeing the rest of this or was this just a test piece? I am going to have to come back here more often to see what you have done!

Thayne, this stuff is Hot! I really like the pose of the chick with the collar and chain, her face is looking good too. The guy is really shaping up and looks great.

Just remember Thayne... when you hold somthihg like the dude is holding... he will not be able to make a tight fist. You need to show some fingers and knuckles... a looser grip. Does that make sense. But yeah, the dude and chick looks pretty good. Oh, and do you know how to draw fingers? it seems to me that every one of your drawings the dude has his hands clenched into a fist. Expand... draw fingers!

I forgot to mention. I went to a site Bio suggested that showed how to draw a horse. On there was a link to drawing dragons. I usually just wing it and do things however I feel. So I figured why not give their idea a shot. The retarded piece was my crappy first try. The second one is more along the lines of what they asked for.

So after that I started shading behind the dragon because they mentioned it brings out the drawing more. And then I figured what the hell and I ran my thumb across all the shaded areas just to see how it would turn out.

Got productive. Blame Android, Bio, and having a day off that wasn't too distracting.

I like her, Mr. TL. The only thing that disturbs me are the treatment with the clothes, the wrinkles. Nevertheless, this problem is a small one so the whole image pleases me, sir. Congratulations! Hmmmm... I see no hands here... Smart Mr. TL! Heh! Heh! Heh!

Hulk is, in my opinion, your best work! Simple like that! The best!
You should finish and post it! And don't forget to color it! Of course, I can not remain in silence so... keep them inside the paper!

Ok, so Android, Masterchief, and Buffy all insist I go all out on this Hulk drawing....... Add to that Winterhawk did a drive by shoutboxing and complimented the hands. So..... I can't decide if I should start free hand inking the Hulk in photoshop. Or if I should go back to the paper and add more stuff like broken poles and Iron Man's head popped off and flyin. Not to mention I want Caeira in there somewhere. At present I have a drawing of her head and face, and all I can come up with is a ghost like head for her in the background. I WAS thinking maybe full body action style, but she'd have to be smaller so she doesn't take away from the Hulk's size. Last night I did go back over the Hulk and well......

The Nun - Your line work is nice and precise. Her habit is believable, excluding the missing arms. With the level of precision on the line, I would expect to see a more fully realized concept (read: one that includes expressive arms and hands). You used a little too much cartoon short-hand on her face as well (imho). I am assuming that you were attempting a sensitive portrait. A realistic facial portrait would go a long way to communicate that sensitivity.

Hulk#1- Great emotive pose, and there is a high energy to the drawing. It's huge to be able to draw emotion. While rage is likely the not the most difficult, it is important to be able to achieve it. Particularly within comics. Luckily it works with the pose. The pose is somewhat awkward. It wouldn't have much power... well it wouldn't for the rest of us who aren't the Hulk. There are some anatomical issues as well, specifically at the hips, and his forward wrist.

Hulk#2- This one has put a nice finish to the original. I like how you are finishing with these clean lines on the last couple of images.

The Dracula/Highlander concept reminds me of Notingham from Witchblade.

On vacation. Trying to drudge up an urge to draw. Was watching Pathfinder and just went with whatever.... The second was sposa be the emperor (assuming that when I say emperor, everyone 1st thinks of Star Wars, here). He got beyond the width I thought the emperor should be so I went the fantasy route.

I blame Bio for draggin this one out of me. I still like it and am considering taking it further, but something doesn't look right.
