This Daredevil kills it hardcore for about three quarters of the first season. It's still pretty good in the last 25 percent, but it gets a little sappy. Matt Murdock always could be a bit of a whiner.

The sappy is just part of the story. You're not going to have a good episode if all you have is daredevil kicking butt the whole show. It's called "character development". Much like "The Walking Dead" wouldn't be any good if it was just an hour of taking down zombies.
I really like what they've done with Kingpin. The back story is a little stereotypical, but this is by far, a better casting job than the lame Affleck flick. I especially like the little nervous ticks and the delusion of the character.
My biggest gripe about the series is the costume... not the fledgeling DD black costume, but the red and black he gets by (SPOILER!!!!) episode 13. To me, there's just too much black in the costume, particularly in the mask. Overall though, it looks good, just black where it shouldn't be.

I enjoyed the series. I finished it last night. I think the first half was better then the second. How ever I really liked it as a whole. Since this was an origin story I didn't mind him not getting his red outfit until the last episode. I honestly didn't know what to expect with this show, since I don't like the other 2 current marvel tv shows (agents of shield and Agent carter). The action scenes were really good. My favorite being the hallway fight in EP2. The acting was pretty good with the notable exception of Fisk's girlfriend, I don't know why I didn't like that actress specifically but I thought she sucked but everyone else was good. I really liked this version of the Kingpin. Way better then the old movie version.

Daredevil kicked butt! I give it four thumbs up! Vincent Donofrio is to Kingpin what Patrick Stewart is to Professor Xavier, You just can't find an actor more fit to the part. Everyone was well cast and I thought Vanessa was a dead ringer to the Mrs. Fisk of the comics! I hope they introduce some of his supervillains in season two like Mr. Hyde, The Owl, Elektra, Stilt-Man and let us not forget Bullseye! Bullseye! Bullseye!

Hyde is already on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., so the only way he's showing up on Daredevil is if they do a crossover episode or get the actor to show up on the other show. Since Marvel's stuff is all connected, it's totally possible. I believe that Elektra was hinted at already as there was a scene with Matt and Foggy talking about a mysterious Greek girl. It was a good show, and I too look forward to seeing more foes in the next season.

Daredevil is already in the MCU and with that in the hat the Characters that have been introduced in the films and TV series are able to be brought into any of the other shows...the example of Carl "Crusher" Creel [ http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Absorbing_Man ] springs up right away since that is the same Creel that was in Agents as Absorbing Man according to the writers.
