I enjoyed the team-up with C2F this year, I think everyone did, and a lot of people are already looking forward to a 2 double-oh 5 bash.

As one of the de-facto organisers last year I have been thinking about how to organise the next cross-over.
The first option is we do the same as before, one artist from each site teams up and everyone feels the love (not literally).

An idea I have been thinking about is this:
Artists at each site enter their names but must also choose a division; Rookie, Cruiserweight or Veteran.
Rookies being beginners, Cruiserweight more experienced and Veterans being very good.

Artists are then randomly matched up with an artist from the other site (who is in the same division) that they will ???????do battle???????? with. That way there should be no unfair contests.
The artists then go head-to-head to see who can make the best pic. The artists decide a finish date between them and can use any base pics, characters or mediums they like.
After posting the winners get decided by poll.

What does everyone think? Any other ideas? The second option is more competitive which could be a good or a bad thing. However it goes we have lots of time to work it out.

Will we have a bracket system going depending on entries? to the point that it could be Heromorph against heromorph? untill there is only one winner in each catagory?

It is gonna be hard to work around that Tablet attached to your rump! I still laugh when I think about your other post. Maybe you should be the model for all our images. I mean, we don't want Thayne to have an unfair advantage.

Who was late or never finished last time? We should probably not let them participate this time, it kinda put a downer on the whole thing. I felt bad for the artists from both sites that teammates let them down.

No, we C2Fers don't know about this yet. Except that I just posted a thread about it, so they should soon.

As for my own $0.02... I'd personally prefer another set of team-ups to a competition. That just seems more conducive to an inter-site crossover event. A competition is more something for within one site, to my mind. That's me though.

If we do go the competition route though, I'll go in as a rookie. Just to win it, of course. Okay, okay... veteran.
