Anyone notice that comics2film.com is no more? I had a gallery there. I wonder if the files still exist somewhere.

They're still around? Apparently not  Nah, from a quick read they are rebranding to mania.com and are in the process of restoring everything.

I think it was sold actually. The old Site owner of C2f was Rob Worley aka Robbo, a quick look at Mania.com the owner of that is some dude named Peter Timothy Hayes

I think it's safe to say that the c2f that you know is gone. As to it's future, that is up to their members to decide.
Sad to see them go. Hope to still see art from some of their loyals. Here or otherwise.

it is definitely weird going over there now. I wish Robbo and the rest of the c2f and DCG dudes luck at their new home. I also hope that any of the C2f guys know that they are more then welcome here if Mania isn't their cup of tea. I personally am looking forward to seeing the gallery once it gets transferred over but I am unsure what I think of my art being automatically transferred to a new site with out asking me Actually I find it quite funny since so many of the c2f members were so gung-ho against Heromorph in our early years over similar things. Quite funny actually. But It will be very interesting to see what sort of controls and if they will still have a low file size for there images. Not a big fan of the new sites navigation but I am sure I will get used to it.

Well dispite anyones best efforts what I think drove most people to just kind of drift away was a slow and steady lack of any sense of community. You just didn't seem to know anyone anymore since there weren't any regulars hanging around keeping things interesting, just a bunch of noobs comming in taking over the place. At least now with a fresh start and a new site even the returning regulars, if there are that many will be back at square one with all the newbies making us all noobs. Besides from what I saw it seems to have some features like myspace or comicspace where you can have friends lists and pick and choose who you want to commune with which is a plus that can aid in stopping people from drifting away this time. I too will miss the old C2F, but I'm willing to start fresh and give Mania a shot.

C2F was my old stomping grounds until BikerBot invited me over to the dark side. I was aware of Heromorph at the time but I always felt that my art was not good enough to grace this site. He convinced me otherwise.

WHAT?!?!?! You mean I am going to have to re-post all 2 of my images I posted there? That is just too much work. I am totally indifferent. I personally didn't like the gallery over there and the members were... well, other than the few I liked... they were kinda self righteous pricks. Well, at least their comments seemed so. Especially B! So, I can feel for the members that might be loosing their web page... but I won't miss it.... sorry C2F. But hey, like Hawk said... if the members want to come play with the best here at HM... I will welcome them. Mainly because I can ban them.  Bwahahaha

I left the C2F community because of the nasty flamewar style of the forums. But I kept posting art there. It was also an archive of my pre-HM work.
Now I see the images have been transfered to Mania, but sans credits. You can't search the gallery or tell who made what unless the artist mentioned himself in the title or caption. I hope they fix that.

I have to agree with you there Mutt, I posted a comment on there announcement thread that they had going to the C2f community about not being overly happy that the Names or credits were not transfered over. So far they haven't responded yet. I really really hope that they either fix it soon or respond because I don't really want to go thru the 700 plus pages of galleries until I find all the images I did to request their removal.
