Patrick McGoohan, and Richardo Montobahn Have both passed away; 14 Jan 2009. Both will be sorely missed

Patrick was in "Dr Syn, alias 'The Scarecrow of Romney marsh", as well as "The Prisoner", and 'Danger Man'.

Richardo was in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn", as well as "Fantasy Island", and 'Spy Kids 3'.

( Is it just me...or is it the fact that, every time I turn around these days, someone we all loved is getting taken for a ride by the Reaper Man? ) ( SHEESH! )

Damn!

All the actors that I enjoyed through my childhood are going...

I grew up watching Fantasy Island with Ricardo Montalban...

KHAN!!!!

The Wrath Of Khan was the only thing I knew Richardo Montobahn from, well that and Kim Possible, but he was so cool in Trek, I'm sure he will be greatly missed

"I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her; marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet... buried alive! Buried alive...!"

Patrick McGoohan was not my fault. It's just a coincidence that we were at the same barbeque and I happened to have my lighter out when the gas bottle exploded.

Richardo Montobahn was totally my bad. Let me remind people to check behind your car for famous actors before reversing out of your driveway (I had checked behind the car for kids and puppies).

Don't forget Ricardo Montobahn also played Freakazoid's first villian Guitierez. Just a random useless fact about a guy who just died...

You know I haven't seen 'The Scarecrow of Romney marsh" since I first saw it on "The Wonderful World of Disney" so many years ago.

It always struck me as something of a "Revolutionary War Era" Batman (he even had his own kid sidekick, didn't he?).

The Prisoner was an interesting show (if confusing as hell with its final episode). I'm suprised in this era of remakes that they didn't try to remake it as a movie or new TV series before he passed away (I could see him with a cameo at least as an old prisoner or one of those running the Village).

But is Ricardo resting in peace on fine Corinthian leather?

I thought I might as well put this news item here on this thread...rather than start a new one.

Natasha Richardson, wife of Liam Neeson, has died. She was 45 yrs old.

( You remeber him...played Rasheed au-Guhl in the first of the New 'Batman Movies...and, yes, I know I did not spell his charactor's name right...so sue me! )

Damn! Just early today I read she was sick...

Another one that made the big journey earlier this week was Ron Silver, remember him from Timecop?

The way Natasha died just scares the crap out of me. I mean, she hits her head, walks away fine, then a few hours later she starts feeling bad, then a few hours after that she's freakin' brain dead. Head injuries and having kids...kids bonk their heads accidentally all the time...scary stuff.

Apparently she didn't even hit her head, just fell awkwardly.

Ya know, I must be the Angel of Death Notices around here.

I've just heard that Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez, who gave 'Vampirella' Her sultry, 'hot, erotic' look, has died. He won an award for His work in...was it 1975? Anyway, another great artist has left behind a rich legacy of work to be remembered by...

...R I P, old friend...RIP

Holy Crap!

Michael Jackson just died... he had just turned 50, and began training with Lou Ferrigno.

Yes, it's quite a shock about Michael Jackson. A shame about Farrah Fawcett as well. Also, don't forget that Ed McMahon just recentely died.
