I've seen the awesome result that Howard Porter obtain with Photoshop on his new job on Trials of Shazam. Can anybody tell me how I can get that results on my inked pictures???

That's one heck of a question...

First off, looking at the work you mention, I don't see any inking. He uses som line, bit for the most part it looks to be digital painting over pencils.

Second, the guy has a mega grasp of working with color. The dude kills in that department. Anybody who can use more cyan, mauve, and yellow on a face than he does pink, and still create convincing skin tone is a freaking master.

Then his work in value on top of it is just bad ass as well.

Technique wise, it looks to me as if he's straight up painting.

It might help if there was a link. I have never even heard of this guy, so it is hard to discuss what I think his techniqwue is. GIve me a link and I will gladly put in my two cents.

Whoa... that is some good sh!t.

OK, first... since Shazam technically doesn't undress... whey does his uni have buttons?

I have to agree with Bio on this. He probably draws everything in blue line and then paints the whole image. It doesn't really look like there is a hard "inked" line in any of his images. He still uses a little of an outline, but it doesn't ever appear to be Black... so, yup... painted... all painted. At least that is my two cents too.
