hey Heromorphites,

it's been awhile. how are we doing. last summer
I read a TIME article about authors and their view
on fanfiction. some authors like them because they
might think it's flattering that the reader likes
their universe enough to create their own tales
on it.

of course, there are those who are not fond of
fanfiction because they might view it as some sort
of invasion or copyright infringement (although
the first thing a fanfic author does is give credit
to the source) here are a few authors who fall in
each category:

AUTHORS WHO LIKE FANFICTION

JK Rowling (Harry Potter)
Neil Gaiman (Eternals)
Stephen King
Anne McCafferey (Dragonriders of Pern)

AUTHORS WHO DISLIKE FANFICTION

Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game)
Ann Rice (Interview With a Vampire)
George RR Martin (Game of Thrones, Sandkings)

I wonder where Suzanne Collings (Hunger Games)
might fall. just wondering. thoughts?
