As you may or may not know, I have a modest little website. Yet, in my efforts to get it up to par, I've hit a bit of a snag concerning disk space with the free hosting on Tripod where it is housed. They only give me 20MB of space for my files unless I upgrade to a better plan which will cost me standard monthly net fees that I'm just not willing to pay right now. And I've already used half of that space and can see that there's no way that I can put everything that I want in with such a small amount of file space. So, my question is, is there any way that I could find another online server that is preferably free of charge with more space that I could hold my files on and then link them to my website?

A few things you can do.
1 is host your images on image shack and then hot link them to the webspace code. if you are using html the code doesn't care if the images are on the same webspace or somewhere else as long as they are online.
This will free up huge amounts of webspace for you.

the next thing you can do is sign up for multiple free account make different free accounts and use the different webspaces for different sections of the site and just link between them. I have done this with multiple sites I had in the past before I actually had real webspace. as long as you code everything correctly. once a person finds your homepage and uses your links they will never notice the difference.

There are a bunch of free web hosting services out there too. Such as:

http://www.yola.com/

and

Thanks for the imput guys. Hawk's idea about using imageshack is ingenous, perhaps I'll try that and see if that solves my problem. Eventually, however, I'm probably going to look into other free hosting sites like those Bio mentioned or I've been researching cheap hosting sites that offer unlimited file space for $4-$6 a month which I probably wouldn't mind spending.

I've been using webhost for test and to store some files to use on my blog and it offers good webspace (350MB, I think) but for images I advice you to do as Hawk said. That's what I do anyway.

Yola.com I've tried it and seems pretty good too, although some files are not allowed there and the interface is not very user friendly but I tried it back when it was synthasite so things might be better this days...

If you want to succeed in the fierce and competitive world of e-commerce it is essential to have a website that will make you stand out from the crowd and that will market you and your product effectively. Here suggested web hosting sites are really good i visited and also i thinking to have that in future for my website making.

Someone pointed this site out to me the other day. I have not looked into it... but at first glance it looks pretty cool.
