OK, I have a question...

I have installed a few "Pose" files in my runtime and when I go to look at them I have a question mark for all the materials and such. I have three of the "Toxic" hair materials and all three sets of those are also question marks.

How do I fix it.... what am I looking for to get those poses and materials to show up?

I think WH told me how he fixed the file I sent him a while back, but I drank that memory away and need new help.

Thanks in advance.

my guess is they are missing the thumbs nails. go to renderosity, there is a program called mac-installer or something that installs mac files into poser. it also repairs the question mark images. i used it when i was on mac.

I have the Mac-Installer (or whatever it is called) and these poses have all their thumbnails. SO, they have been installed correctly and in the right spot and I am still getting the Question marks. As a matter of fact, if I want to use the poses, I have to go to their folder and view them through my file browser to choose which one i want to use.

the png files need to be the same name as the pz2 files. upto the point of the extension.
the other issue is the png res size. poser likes them to be 91 x 91 pixels. check that as well.

Its me again......

I tried everything, including that one program that Skurge recommended to fix my thumbnails and nothing seems to work...so... I just use my browser to look at the textures... it is an extra step, and considering how much I actually use poser... that isn't that big of a problem.

HOWEVER... I ran into a problem last night.
I posed M4 and used "Symetry" to match up his other leg and BAM... his hips got all jacked up! If I straighten his legs out, this huge crease goes away, but when I put them back into this position, the hips still are all effed up. Does anyone know what causes this?

The only thing I can think is that I am going to have to start over... and that is kind of a pisser.

OK... SOOOO... you have all been very hepful!

Well, since I stumped you on the leg thing... lets go for the third try....

Does anyone know this alien figure? He ROCKs... Or should I say.. IT rocks.

I would like to add him/it to my runtime.

the pose could be possibly be one of 2 things.

1. IK is on. turn it off.

2. not all poses can be reversed because the figures left leg might use a negative value to move forward but the right leg uses a possitive value.

When I can see the picture you posted (i am blocked from it here at work) I will let you know what it is.
