Hi everyone, My name's Mike, and I thought I'd introduce myself to you longtime Heromorphers. I run a site with a somewhat-compatible theme called Bad Grrls, with galleries featuring kick-ass action chicks mostly done by comic artist pals I've made over the years. If you might be interested in such a thing, here's where it's located: http://www.badgrrls.comJust thought I'd put that out there. Separately, I have a question about the site. I really like the shot of Lady Heromorph on the front page (the one of her lying on her side, flexing her bicep) and was wondering who might have done it. I haven't looked at your site yet.. but Biohaz_Daddy created our "mascot" But I wouldn't bother him... he lives in a cave and wishes that he hadn't lost his gold ring... his Preshhhh-ussssss.

Thanks for the responses, guys, and Darth, I'm glad you like the site. No hobbits here, although I did buy a shiny gold ring off of one that turns the wearer invisible. Got a good deal on it -- guess the economy stinks in Middle Earth, too.  So Biohaz_Daddy came up with the mascot? Is he really hostile toward people looking for commissions? Does he have some more stuff somewhere around here to ogle?

Awesome work, man! I love the way the Lady Heromorph picture on the front page came together combining three separate photographic sources (the use of Adriana Lima as the face was a great choice). I don't know what might constitute "suitable outlay of cash" (I'm not exactly rolling in the stuff these days), but I'd be curious to know what you might charge for putting together such a picture. If you'd prefer to talk about that sort of thing via e-mail, let me know and we can talk off-forum.

Pretty nice layout you got there on the site Mike. You need more art there though. Along with Bio, might I suggest hitting up some of the other Heromorph masters. Perhaps, isi, Jinky, or JustinBLong. Those three do spectacular work. Not meaning to single out just them, there are lots of us here on HM that would blow your mind.
And don't let him lie to you... I saw him bite off some dudes finger for that damned ring of his. He's a hostile cuss lol
I swear he's got multiple personalities, I once overheard him having a discussion with himself about killing JrMcDeath. kept calling him a hobbit........

Thanks, Darque, I appreciate it. I agree that more artwork for the site would be tops, but securing it is the tough part. Not to overshare, but in spite of my best efforts I became a "99er" last week, which as you might expect hinders my ability to heap riches upon artists whose work I admire. That said, if the commission rate is within my limited budget or if there are topics or projects that might be areas of potential collaboration, that might be a possibility. I work when I can as a writer in the comic book field, so I really enjoy teaming with people on those: http://www.cobraclutch.com/comics/Anyway, artist suggestions such as those you've made are always welcome, so if you want to bring others to my attention, please don't hesitate to do so.
