Re: The Green-Lantern Corps! This is the best GL picture I have seen. Probably the only GL Corps. I know some of the mbrs, did you create some yourself?

The Green-Lantern Corps! Seriously impressive! The key to the character of Green Lantern was the fact is was a CORPS! Too bad DC hired that idiot Ron Marz to do the title: "The problem with Green Lantern is that there are too many of them." Good for DC for finally firing the twit and letting someone bring back the Corps.

Re: The Green-Lantern Corps! [Peter Boyle voice] Holy Crap! [/Peter Boyle voice] Dude, this is mind-boggling, I am actually surprised that some of these posts had criticisms. Those that can't complain about those that can, eh? There was a planet-sized Green Lantern? You learn something new every day... I have a request: could you isolate Katma Tui, and make her larger? I would like to see that. And that orange-y devil girl (?) in the background at the bottom. A 10 from me, bro, you deserve it. Don't forget this when the next awards roll around... BB

Re: The Green-Lantern Corps! Thanks guys! Yeah, I went kinda nuts on the ambition-meter for this one. (Although it's not half as complex as my current wip! ) As far as the planet-lantern "Mogo", he's right there on the left side/halfway up in the background! Hopefully I will be adding more, and maybe a better background if I come across one. I wish I could give credit to all the figures and props used in this pic, but that would be a page unto itself!

Re: The Green-Lantern Corps! You nailed the sole reason I read the Green Lantern Corps. I got sooooo sick of Hal Jordan. And they had every alien you could imagine, and then some!! Damn fine work!

Re: The Green-Lantern Corps! I like the little panda dude in the lower right . My almost complete ignorance of the GL corps does not in the least diminish how awe-stricken I am by this pic. Though I will agree with B - it would be cool to at least have Oa in the background. But like he said, that's a very minor flaw in an otherwise stunning pic. Nice work Lief!

Re: The Green-Lantern Corps! Wow. Just... wow. I'm usually too lazy to comment on pics here (or elsewhere) but this one is just awesome... I can't even begin to imagine the sheer amount of effort that must have gone into it. (I mean, I can imagine it, but I'd rather not. ) I can't even pinpoint a favourite render, cause there's so many of them and they're all really cool, particularly the alien ones. I guess the robot guy in the lower left hand corner sort of catches my eye... but they're all really well done. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the background, which is a bit generic IMO... this sort of Alex Ross style pic would really benefit from a more dramatic, more intensely lit background. This is just... a starscape. A vaguely blurry looking one that doesn't fit the poser look of the figures, in fact. Still, who am I to complain? Fantastic work.
