I got the idea for this while doing my other recent image using the same outfit for V4.  Let me know what you think of this, please.

UPDATE:  Fixed the boot problem and added some green highlights to Lantern's mask.  Sorry.  I got so excited at the completion of this image that I forgot a few small details.  Once my attention was drawn to them it really started to bug me so I had to fix it. lol

 Re: Brainiac 23
Regarding the effects, I really couldn't think of a good way to show impact with the various powers, so I'm going to go ahead and say that Brainiac is just absorbing it until I learn a cool way of depicting it.

As far as emotion goes, I don't think it's that far fetched that she shows none. I can't think of a single moment during the entirety of any of the DC animated series where Brainiac showed emotion of any kind. Besides, this is Brainiac 23. Perhaps part of the upgrade was purging of emotions, which he/she considered to be a weakness of lesser beings that he/she would rather not share.

I'm actually surprised you chose lack of effects and emotion to draw attention to rather than the fact that a formerly male character is now a 100 ft. female. lol

i like the design...i could find it very usefull in some of my projects. pretty sweet render but the effects leave a lot to be desired. i mean are the heat vision beams even reaching her? there seems to be no physical reaction...either a lightburst where it strikes her body or even a deflection or two. plus as nice as the brainic figure looks perhaps a little bit of emotion would help.

Nah I was talking about the design of the outfit what's it called "Wired" I think. Your model looks great but I thought the "wired" outfit would look better. GL Looks awesome too.

I don't know. I kinda like the whole retro/50's look to Brainiac; if only for this particular image. It gives a sorta "Silver Age" feel to it.

This looks fantastic! Great Work. There is a technical issue however, Green Lantern wears boots, green ones. Outside of that one oversight this piece is one of the best I have seen on here especially the Green Lantern. You got Hal's face down perfect.

As a side note: While this pic is very nice I personally don't care for the robot. It's nothing you did I just think the original design is too 50's I was gonna buy it but after seeing it in a render I have reconsidered. I wanted to thank you for using it cuz we never know how these models are gonna look until we put them to use and I am often disappointed after a purchase. Money is tight these days and you just saved me a few bucks thanks.
