Re: guardian The clothes don't bother me... if she's been around for aeons, she can have some sort of mystical gothwear production thing goin' on, way I figure. Cool pic. The filters don't really work quite as well on the figure as they do on the background, but it still works quite well overall. Nice arresting design and composition too. Thumbs up. (See?)

Re: guardian Dude, someone should tell her there's this "modern invention" called padlocks, could save her a ton of trouble On a more serious note, this is a pretty awesome image; one of your best, IMO. Heavy filtering over 3D doesn't always pull off the intended effect but really, really works well here. One might even consider that all those skulls on her outfit represent to her the dead civilization from whence she came (even if she did snatch it from that last f'd up Goth chick who'd tried to hop the fence ). Personally, I still find the backstory more than a little murky, not that it matters to much to me... as an image, it is very eye-catching and compelling. Congrats on the well deserved "best of the week" too.

Re: guardian i got no problem with the clothing myself..her general purpose for guarding an empty forest has me puzzled. i could relate to this character more with a tad more information.

Re: guardian That is where I have the personal issue. She has guarded for eons, which would mean she would never leave that post to go shopping. either that or the lost civilization was not all that lost as it would be very close to a modern day society that it would be a mook point to be guardian

Re: guardian I like the image. One thing bugs me about it. If she has been the Guardian of this lost Civilization for Eons, how is she to come to wearing modern Skull textured goth clothing?
