From Left to Right: SHIELD agents Dum Dum Dugan, Nick Fury and the Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine
A couple of years ago, I had attempted to do a Nick Fury pic with a nod to artist Jim Steranko thrown in. In the end, I don't think it did a terribly effective job at paying tribute to Nick Fury or Steranko or showcasing my skills either. So... in an attempt to draw inspiration from my own lack of inspiration, I decided to see if I couldn't do a little better job on the subject (which isn't saying much).
On a technical note, 2 M4's and one V4 used, bodysuits for everyone, Ghost Agent harness, M4 Witch Hunter boots, V4 Biker boots and various belts from different sets. I did a fair amount of original modeling here... Shield logos modeled and rendered in Bryce (Everything else rendered in DS3). I also built a number of items in Hexagon like Dum Dum's derby and 'stache, holsters, arm and wrist bracers and all firearm.
Updated: Bouncier boobs (Contessa only) and a few other more modest upgrades

Much appreciation for that extremely kind review, bud! Good call on the darker uni's too; definite oversight on my part. Glad ya liked Val's hair That's actually Thalia Hair from an old Poser World DVD and it was darned close to exactly what I needed here... however, I did a little texture and morph work with it.

Well well. where do I start? first of all a very excellent choice of characters. I always love how you manage to dig deep into the archives of the relatively unknown or unused comic characters and breathe new exciting life into them. As usual you facial compositions are excellent [no one does it better]. the suits look great good choice of accessories [although SHIELD unis are darker blue rather than light]. perhaps the most positive touch is Val's hairdo. I don't know if you made it yourself or found it, but it works to a tee. in a nutshell...EXCELLENT WORK..a week's top ten for sure!

I think you did an excellent job of capturing the feel of the Jim Steranko Nick Fury comics quite well.
The characters look like they've just jumped off one of the covers. Whoa!

It's funny... when I look at it now, all of the elements seem rather simple and I can't possibly possibly understand how it could have taken me so long but I do admire your perception I guess there really was a lot of time spent tweaking the details. I thought it was just 'cause I was so rusty at the art of late but well, if you say it showed, I'm a bit happier now. Thanks, Vee!

Excellent composition! Great attention to detail as well. I'm very impressed.

Coming from someone of such a high skill set as yourself, it means a great deal to me. Deepest thanks!

As a suggestion, you could extend the motion on the female's character so that her breasts have moved slightly to her right side (our left). Boobies have a tendency to bounce around (something I'll continue to appreciate the rest of my life!) :P

DOH! Dude, I can't believe of all the details, I forgot THAT! :-O Huge thanks on that excellent suggestion! I will get right on that! Dang, it's true... sometimes you get so hung up on details, you can't see the boobies thru the trees!
